Young Beatrix Potter persuades her governess to join her in reenacting the day her pet mice earned their reputation for being “two bad mice”. On a search for food, mice Tom Thumb and Hunca Mucha find Beatrix’s doll house and are driven to outrageous behavior when they learn the delicious looking food is made of inedible plaster! A new production with puppets designed by Tony DeFilipps and funded in part by the Jim Henson Foundation.
Educational emphasis: For students to listen and discuss Japanese cultural traditions.
